As a nonprofit organization,
staffed entirely by volunteers, Orthodogs' Silver Lining Foundation (OSLF) is totally
dependent upon donations. We do not receive funding from any organization
or humane society, and are able to function only through your kindness
and generosity.
We make donating easy! We offer a wide
variety of programs and ways for you to help:
How to Donate Funds
Get your name on our Donor List!
We have a suggested minimum of $10, but any amount is welcome. You can donate funds via either of the following methods:
- PayPal -- fast, free, and secure!
- Checks (personal, cashier, money order) via postal mail
In the majority of cases, funds will be
distributed directly to the veterinary clinic which will be providing the
dog's medical care, and 100% of the funds raised will go toward the dog's
medical expenses. OSLF's General Fund is also used to maintain OSLF's emergency account,
and in the future will also help to cover some operational expenses. Most of the dogs that receive direct pledges of financial assistance
from OSLF will do so because we have funds available in our general account, so it is a vital
part of our operations.

New! Automatic Monthly Donations
Donate monthly to our General Fund. Use PayPal
to set up an automatic monthly withdrawal from the account of your choice. Receipt of steady donations helps provide funding
so that OSLF can offer immediate help in a crisis situation. You may use your bank account, bank debit card, or credit card (Visa,
MasterCard, or American Express).
If you would like to sign up for an automatic monthly donation, you have the option to contribute a consistent $5, $10, $20, or $50 amount each month. Once you have decided how much you are able to contribute, just click on the appropriate button below, and follow PayPal's instructions. You only need to do this one time. The selected amount will be automatically withdrawn from your account each month.
Note: By using one of these buttons, a recurring monthly donation will automatically be selected. If you prefer to make a single donation only, you should instead use the PayPal Donation button provided above.

A Note About the Tax Deductibility of Charitable Donations
Not all charitable donations can be claimed as
deductions from federal income taxes, even if the organization is registered as a nonprofit. For instance,
you cannot deduct a donation which you direct to a specific individual, even if the
donation is made through a qualified 501(c)3 organization.
What this generally means, is that a donation directed to a specific OSLF pet in need may not be eligible for a tax deduction. A donation made to the OSLF General Fund should be deductible to the extent allowed by law. OSLF cannot ensure, for your particular situation, that your donation is deductible. Please consult with your tax advisor or review the IRS regulations that apply to your situation to determine whether or not a deduction is allowed.
